Location
The apartment is located on the first floor of a new complex that is just two stories high. The property is located on a wine route set in the small village of Limbus. The road leading to the apartments is a dead end, and only used by residents. The apartment is just 4km or a 10 minute drive from the car park located at the bottom of the ski slopes. The restaurant ‘Vnukec’ is just 200 meters from the apartment which offers superb food. There is also a very good Pizzeria called ‘Magda’ that’s located in the village of Limbus. A further recommendation is the Marina restaurant also at Limbus that’s close to the lake as it offers very tasty food served at the waterside.
The Thermal spa 5 star hotel called Habakuk offers an all day pass at approx €19; you can also indulge in many treatments and get a massage after a hard day in the slopes. Squash courts and a gym are also available.
Maribor Pohorje has the longest floodlit ski run in Europe, where you can ski till 9.00pm every night. It is also home to the World cup FIS ladies slalom which is held the 1st weekend in January and is by far the most popular event on the calendar pulling in over 25,000 spectators. In the summer the ski slope adrenalin park is a great attraction. Maribor city has everything to keep a family happy and occupied, including a multiscreen cinema and plenty of shopping.Facilities
Facilities Include: cable TV with English, German and Slovenian channels; DVD player; Kitchen including fridge with freezer; microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker and gas/electric hob and electric oven. Four mountain bikes are available to use, and a BBQ will be available from April 2007.
