My name is Louise Samuel, I am originally from the UK, but now live in Slovenia with my husband Ian and our three sons, Dylan, Lennon and new addition baby Marley.
Background
We purchased our properties in Slovenia in the autumn of 2004 and moved to Slovenia in May 2005. Since then we have been working very hard at renovating and refurbishing the properties with holiday accommodation in mind.

Before we moved to Slovenia we had taken a long holiday in Slovenia getting to know all the different regions. One thing that struck us was the lack of good quality self catering accommodation in Slovenia. As we were also travelling with our children (then 18 months and 4) we also realised that facilities for children were also lacking.
With these issues in mind we decided to consider children and their parent’s needs when developing our Slovenian properties. Our self catering accommodation offers an environment that will hopefully allow parent’s to relax, while their children play safely.

I also know how difficult it is when travelling with babies, therefore before I left the UK I purchased equipment needed for babies such as bottle sterilizers, high chairs, bouncy chairs, baby walkers and even hand blenders to puree baby food. Hopefully parents will not have to transport so much in their luggage if they know that is all available at the cottage in Slovenia.

Our pricing structure is simple and booking straight forward, a small charge is only made for items for rent that are totally optional.

Despite our focus on families, we also welcome couples. We offer a 10 percent discount on published prices for accommodation that is booked for just two people.

Location
The Prekmurje region of Slovenia offers many activities both indoor and outdoor for all members of the family. The ski slopes in Maribor are a 1.5 hour drive away. One of the highlights of your stay will be sampling the rich culinary delights of the local restaurants, washed down by the excellent wines of the region.

Flights
Due to the cheap flights to Slovenia from the UK, Slovenia has become very accessible, and is just a two-hour flight from London Stansted.
A flight to Slovenia can cost from as little as 0.99p one way plus tax! Easyjet flies into the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, and Ryanair flies into Graz (Austria) just over an hour from the properties and accommodation on offer.
